A dedicated support inbox for NewbornNames is being provisioned, and the address will be published on this page as soon as it is live. Corrections found through the review process described on the methodology page continue to be applied to every tool in the meantime.

Reporting a data or tool issue

To help us reproduce and fix a suspected problem quickly, please include:

• The page or tool you were using (for example, "Baby Name Generator")
• The filters you had set, or the name and year in question
• What you saw and what you expected — a rank or count that looks wrong is checkable directly against the SSA's published archive
• Your browser, if the problem looks like a display issue

Confirmed issues are corrected in the data pipeline or engine and covered by a new automated test so they cannot recur silently. See the methodology page for how the datasets are built and verified.

What we cannot help with

NewbornNames publishes popularity data; it does not give naming advice, and we cannot tell you whether a name is a good choice for your child. We also cannot supply name meanings or origins — the site deliberately publishes none until a provenance-clean source exists.
